Manic Monday

Another all-nighter... Gotta love these manic cycles! The goofies will be awake in a few hours. Thank goodness daycare is open today. I've got a lot to do. Mount Washmore is overflowing. I plan to launder and fold at least three loads today. Lord 'Topher wanted us to all go over to his house on Saturday but I was in too foul a mood. Besides, I prefer to go over there solo. No kids, no hubster, no nothing but 'Topher's kitties. Aside from his lunchtime trek home to check his blood sugars, I have the place all to myself. Wash day is about the only real peace I get anymore.

Right now I hear the old man's voice in my head spouting one of his most prolific idioms, "Get grateful, motherf*cker!" Don't get me wrong- I'm not whining... really... But with all the other demands for my attention and time I often find myself in a self-preservation deficit. Part of this which has been sorely lacking is the "fun quotient." When I'm at 'Topher's I can at least fire up his PS2 and play my games. As long as I remember to pack my memory card, discs, and notebook before I grab the van keys, I'm good to go. Yes, I said "notebook." I need it for Suikoden III to keep track of the trading posts in each village. Too bad all the profits I've amassed in the game can't be converted to real life funds. C'est la vie...

Dang... I just want to get going already before this up cycle dissolves into uselessness. It's still way too early to get the goofies moving. Heck... there's raw images in my files screaming to be edited for later use.
